Check out this fun and colorful star student poster. This can easily be implemented on a weekly basis, monthly basis or as a reward for positive behavior. Students will be so excited to share a little but about them. Positive classroom culture will sky rocket as students take control over their learning, and share important information about themselves! I have seen this implemented in three ways: 1) You change out the one page paper as the next one is added 2) As each child is selected, you fill up a section of the room with one for each student 3) As each student is selected, one more page is added to a book and once all students have been selected, they each receive a copy of all of their classmates sheets and can keep it and reference it for years to come!

This simple yet elegant poster with become the most interacted with component of your classroom! This template allows students to complete their exit ticket question, for any subject, on a post it note (with their name on the back which avoids student to student opportunities) and then put that post it note on this oversized poster. The product comes with two options; the first is an 8.5x11 option which can be put into a poster-making printer and the second is a 20x27 file which can be printed and patched together. Both documents are in microsoft publisher formats. I would also suggest laminating the poster for integrity and to ease the attachment with the sticky notes. With so much of our days being go, go, go, and content focused, it is often difficult to celebrate birthdays which is such a joyous occasion for our students. I know it's also often hard to plan, implement, and carry out this parties so I often would have monthly parties that celebrated everyone in the class who had a birthday that fell within that month. In order to make these parties a success, I would ask all the parents to pitch in with donations and time. At first, I would end up with 10 bags of chips and 10 bottles of soda which got old pretty quickly. I started to use this template which allowed me to differentiate the treats that we received which often made the parties last much longer and kids much happier :) The template has two notices per pages and will require you to assign the donations to ensure your party has a good mix. Feel free to cross our and change any of the treats that you feel will better fit your class! Students will return their slip with the parents notifying if they can donate their treat and you can plan for expected numbers. Best wishes and happy birthday!

This simple tracker is a great addition to any teacher's clipboard! This simple form allows teachers to quickly and efficiently keep track of students missing homework. Teachers can also allow students to keep the tracker themselves and own their own consequences.

Life Line Guidelines: Each student gets one of each (3 total) of the lifelines. Their names will be on the back, and they are to hold on to them (laminate if possible). Each time they use one, the teacher collects it. If they don’t use any of them during the month, then the teacher will buy them back for that month for two tickets per life line unused (or some sort of treat). If the students do use their life line and would like to buy it back, they may for the price of two tickets. If the students lose their lifeline, they may buy them back at the cost of two tickets per life line. The teacher will also use a list of students to keep track of who uses theirs. The students who bought theirs back after using it will not be rewarded with the two tickets (or the treat) for that life line at the end of the month. This behavior management system can be set up in any class to keep kids on task, paying attention, and to give students a safe way to protect themselves if they are caught not paying attention or simply not knowing information **Can be adapted to a challenging review game as an informal assessment to show if students have or have not studied.

Check out this easy to use interventions log to keep track of each student's interventions. Simply check write the date each time an intervention occurs and place a check under the category that applies. Change the headings for each student as you wish! Increase student understanding and retention using this Frayer Model strategy! This sheet has two half-sheets on it that are identical to print and disburse to students. The model will allow students to engage with new terminology with multiple access points. The students will put the term in the center circle, represent it with a visual, list synonyms/antonyms, define it as well as use it in a sentence.
